Breast augmentation, reduction and uplift

Breast augmentation is a relatively common and simple procedure but in the hands of the wrong surgeon is one that can all too often end up with poor results or bad scarring. At HB Health we aim for - and achieve - optimum outcome with minimal scarring to the patient and perfect natural results. In order to achieve this goal our surgeons first decide which implant to use (size, shape, material) and from where the implant should best be inserted. Many surgeons adhere to one method that is not necessarily always appropriate for each patient and it is this that can result in scarring and a less than satisfactory result. Face-lift

Grafting

Facial grafting is an effective way for filling in deep facial lines, nasolabial folds, and sunken eyes. This technique in particularity good for patients with major causes of facial aging: sagging and deflation. (The sagging is corrected by the facelift), and the fat that has been lost with age is replaced to create the most natural and realistically youthful look possible. Facial fat transfer is an exciting minimally invasive rejuvenation procedure which allows us to sculpt and restore the face to its natural youthful beauty. The procedure can be used alone or in combination with other procedures such as facelift or blepharoplasty.

This fat will be removed from the donor site (usually the love handles, tummy or thighs) with a small needle The fat is then spun in a centrifuge to remove excess fluids and the damaged fat cells are picked out and only whole, undamaged fat cells would be used. The fat is then injected with the use of a separate smaller blunt cannula. Mild bruising and swelling will show the following two weeks from the procedure (some swelling may persist).

Neck-lift

Often carried out in conjunction with a face-lift, the neck-lift is a relatively simple procedure that tightens the neck area and removes double chins.

Eyelid surgery

Arms lift (brachioplasty)

Heavy flesh underneath the upper arms can often cause acute self-consciousness and negative body image. If this is the case, then an arm lift offers an effective way to reduce sag and tighten skin.

There are several methods for this procedure and which one might be suitable for you depends on the amount of excess skin in the area. For patients with a small amount of excess skin, the incision would extend horizontally along the crease (axillary) line of the armpit. A small ellipse of loose skin can then be removed and its edge advanced towards the axillary line. In the case of a larger volume of skin, the incision might extend from the underarm to the elbow, the length of which is dependent on the amount and position of the excess skin to be removed. In the case of removing excess fat, a direct excision of fat and skin or liposuction can successfully contour the shape of the underarm.

Thigh Lift Surgery

Weight gain - both with or without subsequent loss - pregnancy, hereditary factors, hormonal influences and stretching are all issues that contribute to slack and sagging thighs and buttocks. In cases where a large amount of excessive skin is present, liposuction alone is unlikely to give satisfactory results. With a thigh lift, excess skin is removed with an incision usually located at the bathing suit line. The thigh lift is performed along the underwear line so that the skin can be tightened without a scar on the leg itself. The skin is lifted, and loose and excessive skin removed.
